Fastpitch Association of Connecticut
When it came time, (in 2013), to attend the annual Connecticut ASA Hall-of-Fame Ceremonies for new Inductees, many of the ex-players there realized that the Fast Pitch Softball venue was not very well attended.
Those of us who played the game in the two most recognized leagues in Connecticut (The Church League in New Britain or The West Hartford League) knew something had to be done.
One thing that was obvious and a potentially large problem was...men's fast pitch in Connecticut was a dead sport...and had been now for about two decades.
So, we all met to discuss solutions. The initial answer was an "outreach" process dedicated to contacting old ballplayers. As this progressed, and we received more and more information about these players, we began to realize that many of them indeed had the credentials for induction in the Connecticut ASA Hall-of-Fame. The result...in 2014, we inducted 4 new people into the HOF...and our attendance was such a success, we had to find a larger venue for the event.
Since then, we have continued to reach out...and to give careful thought to what else we can do moving forward...with a special dedication to helping what we all love...fastpitch softball.
In 2014, we created the Fastpitch Association of Connecticut...currently
dedicated to the following-
1. Seeking and finding ex-fast pitch players who may have the credentials for HOF Induction....men and women!
2. Building membership in our organization
3. Promoting the game of fastpitch softball at all levels and age groups throughout Connecticut.

Our ultimate goal is to be able to raise sufficient funds to allow us to
offer college scholarship money to girls who represent the qualities of softball
success in high-school and quality grades.

If you feel you'd like to part of our organization, or would like to contribute towards our scholarship goals, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Thank You...we hope you'll join us!
